Located in the center of Narbonne, Domaine de l’Hospitalet is right at the heart of a vineyard, between sea and sky and just a few kilometers from the Mediterranean. The chateau has 38 guest rooms each uniquely and elegantly designed with stunning views of the surrounding vineyards and lush parks. There is also a swimming pool in the premises as well as a “bistronomic” restaurant simply called “H,” serving Mediterranean cuisine and fine wines.
Narbonne is located at Pays Cathare and the Languedoc Region’s vineyards, offering many opportunities for exploring nature and outdoor activities. The chateau is in the same area as Canal de la Robine, Tour Barberousse, and Narbonne Cathedral. The hotel also features an outdoor pool, while the Gruissan Beach is nearby.
Wine tasting is an absolute must if you are staying for more than a night. There is a winery attached to the bar and lounge. On Friday evenings, jazz concerts are held at the lounge bar. There is also an outdoor terrace in the chateau where you can enjoy the best wines in the region while admiring the splendid views.
The beautiful architecture of the Domaine de l’Hospitalet keeps with its winemaking tradition and uses mostly natural, warm and cozy materials. Rooms are equipped with flatscreen TV with satellite channels, air conditioning, climate control, and complimentary wireless Internet access.
Restaurant le H is set on the side of the chateau with wide open spaces looking out to breathtaking views of the vineyards of La Clape or the inner courtyard with a view of the buildings and the chateau. Set menus are available for lunch and dinner and feature different courses from appetizers to desserts, perfectly paired with different wines, which are either chilled or served at room temperature depending on what the wine and the food requires.
