One of the most beautiful Alpine resorts in Verbier, Switzerland, Hotel Rosalp is set against the backdrop of Mont Blanc and Grand Combin. It is a famous winter sports station and holiday destination run in the chalet tradition and available by the room. Breakfast, afternoon tea, and a four-course dinner are included in the rate of the room. Michelin Chef and chalet owner Roland Pierroz is renowned for his creative valaisan cuisine greatly inspired by his Italian origins.

Rosalp was built in 1945 by husband and wife team Roger and Anita Pierroz. Anita’s home cooking made Rosalp a success but it was their son, Roland, who transformed the hotel and restaurant into an international gastronomic destination. The chalet offers state of the art-facilities with well-appointed suites and large tastefully decorated bedrooms with private balconies and many with dark paneling. There is also a public salon or sitting room for relaxing and having drinks and canapés.

One of the finest locations in Verbier, Chalet Rosalp is set between the main Medran Gondola and the centre of the village so its easy to get anywhere in the village from there. Verbier is located in the Swiss canton of Valais in southwestern Switzerland, in the municipality of Bagnes, and is one of the premiere skiing destinations in the world. Many top skiers have settled in the village for its steep slopes, culture, and varied conditions wit some areas covered with snow all year round. Leisure activities in the area aside from skiing include hiking during the summer time, mountain biking, mountain climbing, swimming, paragliding, badminton, golf, trips aboard the mountain railways, and a yearly music festival. Verbier is also a popular holiday destination for celebrities and the royal family including Prince Harry of Wales, Sarah the Duchess of York, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, the Crown Prince and Princess of Denmark, and the Swedish Royal Family.
