The common bream is a fish that lives generally in freshwater rivers or brackish seas. This species is mainly located in Europe. The common bream’s adult form has a golden luster on both sides but their young fish can sometimes be confused with the silver bream, as they also appear silvery. They are bottom-feeders, primarily feeding on the soft bottoms of rivers, ponds, and lakes. The sea bream are silvery in color and have blue and pink tinges and broken longitudinal gold lines. They also live and thrive in European waters.
