  • 2 apples
For the beignets dough:
  • 2 eggs
  • 1.8 oz. sugar
  • 0.35 oz. vanilla-flavoured baking powder
  • 0.27 lbs. milk
  • 2.8 oz. flour
  • 2.8 oz. starch
For the sauce:
  • 1.8 oz. sugar
  • 3 orange peels cut into long stripes
  • Juice from 3 oranges
  • 0.55 lbs. bitter orange jam
  • 4 scoops ice-cream
  • Some drops of orange liqueur

Cooking recipe preparation instructions
  1. Caramelize sugar in a small pot. Add the orange juice and the orange peels. Stir well and add the jam as well as the liqueur.
  2. Break the eggs in a salad bowl. Add sugar and the vanilla-flavoured baking powder. Next, add milk, flour, and the starch. Stir well with a beater.
  3. Peel the apples. Remove the cores and cut the apples into slices of 0.4-0.8 in.
  4. Flour them. Put them in the beignets dough and fry in lots of vegetarian oil.
  5. Drain the beignets with absorbing paper and sprinkle them with granulated sugar.
  6. Place the beignets on the serving dishes. Pour the orange sauce over it and accompany with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream.
