  • 1 pint milk
  • 0.88 oz. butter
  • 0.55 oz. granulated sugar
  • ½ vanilla pod
  • 0.28 lbs. flour
  • 1 tbsp. rum
  • 1 bitter orange peel
  • 1 oz. bitter almonds
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg yolk

Cooking recipe preparation instructions
  1. Boil the milk, butter, bitter almonds, hacked orange peel and vanilla pod (split and seeded).
  2. Cover it and let it lukewarm.
  3. Mix the eggs and sugar. Add flour, rum and orange peel.
  4. Let it rest for 1 hour.
  5. Butter the mould and put the dough in it.
  6. Put it in the oven at 338 degrees F for 30 minutes to obtain a dark brown colour.
